2nd Namibian Interventional Society of Cath Lab Allied Professional Workshop - In partnership with PASCAR and ISCAP

15 October 2016 - Windhoek

“ADVANCING TOGETHER IN ONE ACCORD”

We would like to congratulate the Namibian Interventional Society of Cath Lab Allied Professional (NISCAP) team for yet another successful NISCAP meeting this past weekend. As only the second meeting with NISCAP driving all aspects independently with some support from PASCAR/ISCAP & Boston Scientific, we must say this group has established a sustainable platform for continued skills development. As with the first meeting, the team has shown the needed dedication, commitment and professionalism to make this a successful and high standard event with a record breaking more than 80 attendees for the day! Well done to all!

Special thanks to all presenters, conveners, administrators and logistical supporters - NISCAP has come together and shown once again Namibia Allied’s wants to move forward and establish a platform of international standards for the future development of Namibian Health Care Professionals.

Feedback received from the attendees was very positive with the educational content of high value. Each and every member should feel extremely proud of what was achieved this year in such a short amount of time! Truly amazing and inspiring!

A special thanks to South Africans ISCAP Vice-President Waheeda Howell for her contribution and collaboration. This of course was Waheeda Howell’s first collaboration and exposure to NISCAP and they want to thank her for coming to Namibia and taking time to share valuable information. Thank you for helping NISCAP in their process of developing, they hope to continue this partnership in the coming years.

Also, thank you to Dr Simon Beshir and Dr Tangeni Auala for their contributions and support in making this happen. Thank you for their informative presentations and assistance especially with the question and answer sessions as well as taking time to come and share knowledge from your busy schedule.

On behalf of the society we are grateful for all those who attended the event and as already mentioned on the day, it would not have been a success if the chairs were empty.

The event would also not have been a success if it was not for our generous sponsors (Boston Scientific, Phillips and Astra Zeneca) plus our Partners (ISCAP and PASCAR).

Thank you once again Boston Scientific for all your support as this gave us the chance to network and get ideas on growing our society and have us an idea about future workshops.

Last but not least thank you to all NISCAP core team for our dedication and sacrifice. Truly we are 'ADVANCING TOGETHER IN ONE ACCORD'!
